This feasibility provided by Strzala Architects (as SBS Architects) is in response to Warrington Borough Council document ‘Feasibility study for the remodelling of Lymm High (Voluntary Controlled) school’ scope of services dated January 2010.
Following a number of site visits to assess the status of the existing school with respect to overall utility of existing spaces, general assessment of existing fabric, and potential for remodelling / reuse of existing and proposed future spaces a series of options have been proposed and presented.
The feasibility is broadly broken down into key development stages:
- Analysis of existing building including accommodation analysis.
- First stage – high level initial responses.
- Second stage – development of identified options and recommendations.
- Costing of second stage design development.
The study resulted in recommendations for a series of major innovative interventions.
