The brief required the construction of a new build station building at Burnley Manchester Road Station, with associated public realm to vastly improve the passenger experience. Strzala Architects design is a contemporary reflection of the local vernacular, creating a modern station facility which provides a spacious, comfortable waiting environment with improved staff facilities and even space for the local community.
